"Isis", our Fat Cat!  

Many people who frequent our store in Owosso are lucky enough to be greeted by Jellybean's one and only feline, Isis. Isis was adopted by Jellybean's about five years ago from the Shiawassee Humane Society. She is a female calico who lives in the store and visits the customers while they shop. Isis is presumed to be 8-9 years old. 

Isis is very talkative and will often  follow people around in the store until they pet
her or otherwise acknowledge her presence! Isis also, enjoys having her stomach rubbed and receiving gifts of food and catnip.

Isis maintains her impressive size with a steady diet of Purina dry cat food. Currently, she is on a reduced fat diet, although it doesn't seem to be making a difference in her weight!

 Although we call Isis a "Fat Cat", she has not yet been entered in the Owosso Curwood Festival's Fat Cat Contest to claim the official title. On the other hand, we certainly believe that she would make quite a showing!

Isis encourages people to rescue homeless kittens and cats like herself by visiting their local Humane Society or Animal Shelter. She is providing this link to the Shiawassee Humane Society. web page so that our customers can see some of the pets waiting to be adopted there.
